Post Replacement

Did the first post PM with the cardiologist. He said, he liked the way it was going and will not make any changes versus settings from the previous PM, until November. Sounds logical, but still hoped he would entertain the thought of raising the resting and elevated beats per minute.

--------------------------------------------------

I am ten days post replacement and have appointment tomorrow, August 16th. The Cardiologist said "we didn't change a thing from your old settings". Well, I want them to change the settings to up the voltage "punning" so I feel more energy to do things. The old settings, previous PM, were off and I had a conversation with the doc prior about the settings. I am thinking Low: 62 and High: 160. I want the ability to go to 160 because I workout and the intensity requires a higher level.

Thoughts?

I assume what you really mean is you want the resting heart rate increased from wherever it is now. You do know if you are paced on demand only that they will have to adjust that setting above your normal heart rate, which is likely to be uncomfortable for you simply because it's not normal for you. And why an upper limit of 160? Mine is set to 180 and I'm an old fart. With your exercise routine you should be able to handle a higher upper limit as with exercise if you exceed that upper limit it'll either hold there or drop precipitously and cause more difficulty.
