So I have had my pacemaker for three months now and I love roller coasters is it safe to ride with a pacemaker?

It depends who you ask, some doctors will flip out, others will say go for it, most are in between and will not give a straight answer. Many of us have done it. I would wait 6-12 months first to give the leads plenty of time to build up scar tissue. I avoid the newer ones with the magnetic brakes.

I loved roller coasters so much as a kid. There isn't a roller coaster that I wouldn't have tried out at least once. Well, flash forward, 37 years old, still have the love for a good roller coaster but haven't got the nerve up to ride one. My EP told me to go and have fun, that's the reason he put the ICD in in the first place!
I would get on one if I could just find someone with an ICD to ride along with me for the first time!
