I am new at this, so try to overlook my mistakes. But recently I have had sensations that I had before my pm, like dizzy, sweating, feling like I am going to pass out. i have a monitor that I can send transmissions directly to my Dr. He called today and said he did not see an problems, but possible severe dehydration, that could be causing the symptoms. Has anyone had this problem after exercise or intense yardwork? Thanks.

Yes, I had those symptoms, and as you say, they were similar to what I thought was a heart attack: dizziness, sweating, and feeling as if I was about to vomit. The "heart attack" incident resulted in me getting a mechanical aortic valve inserted because of a severely blocked valve, and the pacemaker was a bonus due to surgical complications.
About 6 months later I had a milder version of the symptoms - not bad enough to call an ambulance, but I went by taxi to my local emergency department. Lots of tests later the verdict was: dehydration!
In my case I am on "water tablets" - 20mg of Furosemide and 12.5mg of Spironolactone, daily for heart failure. I realised that I had had a very busy day at work and simply hadn't drunk enough fluids. Lesson learnt.
You know you're wired when...
Jerry & The Pacemakers is your favorite band.

Just because you have a device doesn't mean you are damaged goods and can't do anything worthwhile and have to lie down and die. In fact, you're better and stronger. You're bionic!

There's no official connection but many of us find we are more sensitive to dehyrdation than people without heart conditions, esp in heat. I'm super careful not only to stay hydrated but to replace electrolytes if I've been in the heat a lot. I don't like sports drinks because they're full of sugar and chemicals and don't really have all the electrolytes they like to make you think they have. I go for coconut water post workout and in the heat, and it I'm outside all day, salty snacks.
