Pacing because of vagus nerve

I have had a single lead pacer for four years because of partial heart block due to an ablation. I have dealt with my device pacing me while i lay on my left side when my heart does not need to be paced. The nurse who changes my settings is aware of this and has changed all settings that she and the lead medtronic device representative can think of to improve this but it still continues. the theory is the Pacer is miss reading singles from my vagus nerve. I have learned to deal with this and mostly sleep on my right side or back, but recently it has begun pacing me while laying down as well. I have been to the nurse and she has confirmed I am getting paced when i do not need to be paced while laying on left side and now sometimes my back. Wondering if there is a genius out there smarter then my local medtronic device representative who might have further insight into getting my pacer to stop doing this. We have lowered everything possible and in fact the next step would be to program my pacer manually. I have been getting it checked every week for 3 weeks now and its costing a small fortune trying to get it right!

Thanks

I am 100% pacemaker dependant and have been all my life. I try not to think about how a little metal box keeps me alive - it would drive me crazy. So I lead a very active life.
