Got my pacemaker 31days ago, wondering when we can start to rebuild ourselves. I have shortness of breath with everything I do, just wondering if light exercise would help. or is it to early. I am thinking that conditioning would help my pvc's. The Doctor hasn't said when I can start to exercise.

My cardiologist is brilliant and after lots of trial and error got me running. I finished this years London Marathon in 3hrs 38 minutes.
Cardiac Rehab

I found cardiac rehab to be invaluable after I got my pacemaker. I had felt so bad in the year or so, pre PM, that I had turned into a total couch potato. After the pacemaker, I felt better, but I was no where near my old level of strength.
Cardiac rehab gave me structure, group support, and a since I was being medically monitored, it felt more safe to really push myself. I too had PVCs.
Insurance in my state won't cover cardiac rehab unless one has had a heart attack, which I hadn't. I had to ask the doctor to send me, and I had to pay out of my pocket. It wasn't any more than a gym membership, and it was worth every penny.
