slow vt?

i am a 51 year old man had an icd for 12 years. Ive had 3 ablations in that time with little or no sucess. The EP says i have scare tissue on my heart from a mild heart attack. i am on sotalol mexiletine and lopressor which seem to be working . ive had my share of shocks over the years, but have been under control pretty well the last couple years. anyway.what im having now is high heart rate under no exertion at all between 100 and 120 bpm. my normal rate is 50-60 bpm .This is not high enough for my device to react, but is still scarey as i keep close track of my heartrate.this will go on for maybe a half hour then ,like turning off a switch return to normal immediatly . The EP looked at the ekg when this was happening and sais it was possibility a slow vt but not 100% sure. Anyone with any input on this would really be appriciated. Thanks in advance ,this is a great site

Not Alone!

Hello!
My situation is quite different from yours, but I am suffering from the same problem. I am a 23 year old female, and I have had my pacemaker for about 3 months due to Neurocardiogenic Syncope and Bradycardia. For the first couple of months, everything seemed to be great, but now I am struggling with a rapid heart rate for no reason at all. It occurs while at rest, with little or no exhurtion, or even while I am sleeping. I have been wearing an event monitor for the last 3 weeks, but so far nothing too serious has shown up, so I'm not sure what is going on.
Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I just though I would let you know that you aren't alone.
