I had an angiogram procedure on Monday this week and later in the afternoon had a small bleed, eventually the hospital said this was probably a vein that was clipped during the operation - still scary when you start bleeding from your groin!! The good news was that all my arteries were clear and now I am awaiting an MRI scan. My question is that I have been very careful and now as I am into my fourth day and climbing stairs as normal and no more bleeding, would it be okay to start aerobic exercising over the weekend and go to my keep fit class next Wednesday? I have already had a long gap because of my pacemaker, fitted in January. Just want to get my life back to normal if possible. Appreciate your comments. This is a great site.

A bit soon

I think this weekend would be a bit too soon. It may look ok on the outside, but a colleague at work resumed more energetic stuff after just a few days and ended up with a huge bruise where it had burst inside and he had internal bleeding.
