Ok, so, i had a pacemaker/defibulator implanted on 1/29. The dr. was nable to complete the pricedure and the 3rd lead was not placd. With luck, i will have the 3rd lead inplanted next week. I met with an EP, and he is confident that he can complete the procedure...
Today, while at work, i nearly passed out. I ended up on the floor. A bunch teenage boys, waiting for their driver's ed class, came to my rescue.... I am so embarassed, but grateful they were there...
i was told that my device would protect me, however, it didn't protect from this... Has this happened to anyone else? How did you cope? Calling EPs office tomorrow to make sure they get me in next week!

ok, i spoke with my doctor and i have been scheduled for Wednesday to have my procedure completed. As I have mentioned earlier, my original procedure was never completed. The 3rd lead was never placed due to some complication the 1st doctor ran into. My device was never fully functional, but it will be...so it is a possibility that my device could have been at least partially responsible for my dizzy spell...

Maybe it was the device kicking in. I don't know! An adjustment was made during the visit I had on Tuesday...
