Pain in peck and left arm

Had emergency surgery to replace my icd in Nov 2017 due to finding a short in my old one.  Almost 6 months later and I still have a lot of pain in my peck area around were the leads are and pain that shoots down my left arm.  I've been back to the surgeon who did the operation multiple times and he was more worried about the area being infected rather then deal with the issue of pain.  He told me that different people handle pain in different ways and it just needs time to do its thing.  I've been to 2 orthopedic doctors who couldn’t find anything and I have an appointment with a neurologist in a couple weeks.  Has anyone had issues like this, and if so what did you do?

It's not uncommon for people to have neck and shoulder issues, especially if they were very, very careful not to let their arm move after implantation.

Physical therapy and/or deep tissue massage helps.

I just want to share about the quality of life after my pacemaker, and hopefully increase awareness that lifestyles do not have to be drastically modified just because we are pacemaker recipients.
