I had the implant one year ago after valve repair. For five months or so I was satisfied with the pacing it provided for walking and even hill climbing. I never could bike, however. I got no increase in heart rate even up hills that were dificult. I left the country and after a month the pacing changed dramatically: if I swung my arms at all my pulse jumped to 140 (max limit) after a short time of slow walking. I determined after some experimentation that I could swing my right arm but not my left. However my pacing did not increase going up hills as it had done in the first five months. Since I returned to the country the device has changed its behavior two more times after tweaking by technicians. I leave the hospital with the pacing relating correctly to the effort but in a short period it is no longer working in the same manner. The clinic says they must consult with the 'engineers' at Boston Scientific but I have heard nothing for weeks.
QAnyone with a similar experience???

Hi L
Are you familiar with rate response? Which BS pacemaker did you get? Do you know if the minute valuation feature is available on your model?
You know you're wired when...
Your electric tooth brush interferes with your device.
