Dr. Visit!

I went in today to what I was thinking was going to be getting placed on a medication to increase my blood pressure. That was not the case my blood pressure was high today. I stopped checking it because I just got lazy with checking it. I know in the mornings and late at night it gets low sometimes. He told me that he wants me to wear this 24 hour blood pressure monitoring. I had never heard of that so I get that tomorrow.
They then ordered me to have a test tomorrow on my left subclavian area to see if my spasms which are very odd are happening for sure because of the lead. He said that he feels like this test will come out ok and if they do he wants to refer me on to a neruologists he is leaning that I have such a built up of scar tissue that it is spreading to where they may be able to inject something in to help decrease the scar tissue if that is the case and then in the long run help stop the spasms.
Has anybody faced any of this?

Thanks!
Tammy

Gosh! Are the spasms you're having feel like "shocks".
Please read the posting titled, "Those strange pacemaker "shocks"!" It's just a few below. If you need more information, please email me.
