Hi, I've posted here before about dislodged leads and a lead was pacing my diaphragm. I had a revision. I went for my 2 week checkup and the leads were dislodged again. They turned off my device said they were 3 mos out for appointments. I decided to go to another ep and he scheduled me for removal of my biotronik ICD and just go with a pacemaker, no defibrillator in 2 weeks. When I got to the hospital, infection had developed in the pocket. I had a TEE, and have an infection behind the heart where the lead tips were. I now have a picc line and am on an IV antibiotic for 4 weeks after spending 5 days in the hospital for the second time. They took out the defibrillator and scheduled my implant on the right side in 2 weeks. The Dr came in the next day and said he had canceled my surgery date and said I didn't need the pacemaker. My ef had gone up a little, it's 45 now. But I still have a left bundle branch block. This has been a nightmare to say the least. Anyone else experience major issues. Thanks for "listening".

I wasn't really self-conscious about it. I didn't even know I had one until around six or seven years old. I just thought I had a rock in my side.
