Lightheadedness, palpitations, shortness of breath

Hello Everyone!  I had a 2 lead PM implant on 5th June following a failed ablation for SVT's (which damaged my AV node).  I have Barlow's syndrome as well.  I've had my PM adjusted once since the implant and it made a world of difference.  Everything was going fine and then about the beginning of Sept I started having palpitations again, but the PM would kick in and it would stop.  I spoke with the PM department and they said I should be fine and it was nothing to worry about.  I have a followup on 5th Dec.

Now for the last 7 weeks I have been having lightheadedness and some vertigo.  My GP said I have benign positional vertigo and gave me some medication.  She said it should go away in a few weeks, if not come back.  Well, I'm feeling worse now and just light exercise, such as on the elliptical or going for walks with the dogs is causing problems.  I feel sometimes faint and I even have shortness of breath at times.  I can hear my heart murmur, I get hot and I have to rest.  Could a lead be damaged or dislogded?  I have taken my blood pressure and its fine.  It's not the same symptoms as when I went into complete AV Block where my heart rate was about 30.  My husband is out of the country on business and I don't want to alarm him so just taking on some advice.  It's a Saturday and I can't be seen by a dr until Monday unless I drive to A&E which is about 40n minutes from me.  Thanks!

Not anxiety

I’ve been experimenting and exercise definitely makes my symptoms worse. I don’t think it’s anxiety, but I can aaaur you it’s foing to give me anxiety I’d not fixed or at least explained to me why it’s happening. My concern is either a lead is out of place or my mitral valve has deteriorated and my moderate leak is severe. I have read where it can can happen quixkly. Also when I lay on my left side it’s uncomfortable. But even more so is the sharp clicking sound  with every beat of my heart. It sounds mechanical and I can feel it as well as hear it. It’s like it against a rib. If lay on my back it goes away.  I’m going to the GP tomorrow. I’ll have to yell and scream to get anything done. Even though they know my medical history they prescribed me medication for vertigo which has been useless. They didn’t even consider it was something heart related.

No Jered. I don’t have a monitor. I wish I did. I’ll let you know what happens. I truly thought I was done with the palpitations. I didn’t have any after my last adjustment so it disheartening that they are back and more sequent than before my ablation or implant ☹️

I’ve been diagnosed with PM syndrome. I’m in hospital now and they will be making adjustments to the settings. Fingers crossed!

It may be the first time we've felt a normal heart rhythm in a long time, so of course it seems too fast and too strong.
