Electric heated clothing

I'd like to buy my father a heated scarf and/or vest, is it ok or is it intefering with normal operation?
Is there another way to heat up the air prior to inhaling? He also has lung problems, cold air is his nemesis #1.

There is virtually nothing in the home that will interfere.

Thanks for replying, however I'm a bit puzzled now, because when my dad first got the pacemaker he was warned that even the in-ear headphones could be dangerous.

Since these clothings are wired with electricity there's got to be an EM field around it, even though I've found more articles stating that even electric blankets are safe.

Maybe just over-paranoid medical staff?

Heated Jacket/vest

I have personally been thinking about getting a heated Milwaukee hoodie. I was turned into a cyborg this May (implanted with ICD/ pacemaker), and had apprehensions. I'm a sheet metal worker and am around welders, electric motors, and magnets all day and have not experienced any issues. I have read that any device under 60- 90 Amps is safe and does not create strong enough EMF to interfere with a device. I doubt the small battery that powers the jacket/ vest comes anywhere near that. If you are privy to the information, I would check with the device manufacturer if you have any doubts.

You know you're wired when...
