re: manicures/pedicures

This may be a stupid question but...do I now have to be careful when getting a manicure/pedicure as far as being exposed to any bacteria that a person may be exposed to during a general manicure/pedicure?

The only thing to be careful of at a salon is the vibrating chairs. They won't hurt us but if you use rate response, the vibrations can trick it into thinking we are working out and raise our rate.

It is safe to have your nails done, minor surgery, and dental procedures without any antibiotic cover for your pacemaker. 

Your dentist should be aware of your medical history. Some equipment with motors when placed almost in contact with the pacemaker site may cause temporary problems.
