Is it muscular pain or cardiac pain?

My pacemaker was sewn into my pectoral muscle one year after original implant because it had migrated too much. Recently I have pain in the left side every time I deep breathe but it doesn't prevent me from a swim or a walk. My cardiologist says he will place a monitor to detect where exactly the pain is coming from. Does anyone have this experience? Thanks.

My pacemaker was installed in 1998 and I have not felt better. The mental part is the toughest.
Pleuritic pain?

Heartfelt, yes I have experienced pain on breathing deeply in the past when I was diagnosed with pleurisy. My doctors tell me this type of chest pain is usually pleuritic in nature rather than heart related. I see you have had your pacemaker relocated because it had migrated but this was some years ago so I am assuming the area is well healed by now? Hope this is sorted quickly for you
