i know this subject is not considered to be a heart issue, but who knows.
The cardiologist just cleared me for the surgery(april 25,2022) and nothing needs to be done to my pacemaker.
Retina specalist said i need to have the jelly like substance replaced with saline. Called Vitrectomy in my left eye. For multiple floaters. As the right one had been done years back when i had a macular pucker wrinkle removed.
Did listen to my heart and took my pulse, guess i was ok.
Will be good not to be concerned any more when seeing black spots floating in my soup.

Remember to keep well hydrated

Hello new to pace, thank you for the update. Getting floaters like so many other health conditions is an age related problem and I hope the Vitrectomy will be successful for you and that no further treatment will be needed in the future.
As a matter of fact I am now two years overdue for my hospital follow up eye appointment. I was having cataract surgery and treatment for my corneal dystrophy (map dot fingerprint dystrophy) when Covid struck. I get floaters on the left side too and some powerful flashes at night as well as awful blurry vision upon waking. I have been getting annual eye tests with an excellent optometrist so am confident nothing needs urgent attention, but I am pushing for an early hospital follow up appointment now.
Remember to keep well hydrated. Dry eyes will cause all manner of distressing symptoms for me. I use prescription moisturizing eye drops and ointments regularly. .
Hope It Gets Better

Hope all goes well and the floaters go away! Still battling with my own vision and motion issues and always love hearing from fellow members that are seeing improvements or getting answers.
take care

Floaters

Welcome to the club New to Pace. It must be very irritating to have black spots floating in your soup (never mind everything else you see).
Rather reminded me of the restaurant waiter joke:
"Waiter, what is this fly doing in my soup?"
"Backstroke I think, Sir!".
I can only hope your vitrectomy goes smoothly and you are able to better see all the posts on this site.
With best wishes for improved health.
