Hello to all. Seems a while since I posted. Have been really ill with bad flu which then gave me shocking asthma. Weather here looked like spring had sprung then turned back again to wet, cold and windy. Not very helpful when the new roofing materials turned up and the guys want a run of about five clear days to get the new roof on the house.
I have been suffering with the pain in my left shoulder again. The doc gave me a needle to see if it would fix it but no success. I get pins and needles down the middle of my shoulder blade then about half an hour alter the pain starts. Guess it is all part of the aging process.
I have really felt the cold this winter and wonder if my pacemaker is set too low? Anyone got any comment on this. My rate is lowest 50 highest 130. I have my next pm check on 15 November and will also see the Heart Specialist for a checkup.
We are off to New Zealand in two weeks for four weeks and a week in Melbourne on the way back to Tasmania. Looking forward to seeing my special friend again, Rewired - Kay. Oh we have such a great, laughing time together. It really is a tonic.
Lambing season over. Hand feeding a toothless ram at present he is eight years and lost all his teeth. We call him Gummy.
Cheers to all pace well.

Hello
Sorry to hear you have been sick. Glad to see that you feel well enough to give us an update.
In the event you have a relapse I am going to include my grandfather and grandmother's prescriptions for cold and flu remedies.
Grandpa's cold and flu remedy
1 teaspoon bayberry bark.
1 teaspoon grated ginger root.
(These ingredients can be skipped if not readily available.)
2 or 3 oz bourbon
1 cup of boiling water
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
2 heaping teaspoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of crushed peppermint candy
Mix ingredients and let it sit for 20 minutes.
Drink as needed and with caution.
Grandmother's cold and flu remedy which was simple and fail proof.
2 tablespoons of castor oil!
This is a fail proof remedy because if we said we were still sick we got another dose and nobody ever wants a second dose.
Hope you feel better soon.
