Hello,
Has anyone ever had their pacemaker vibrate or buzz when they hit the ERI window? I've had a pacer for 26+ years and I've never experienced this. What does it feel like? Will it be noticeable? Will it wake me up?
Thanks,
Blake

My ICD sent beeping signals at 12 hr intervals. I didn't realize it was me beeping the first day. Changed out after 7 yrs.

Sometimes a device must be tuned a few times before it is right. My cardiologist said it is like fine tuning a car.

I asked my cardiologist but my pacemaker isn't set to buzz or vibrate when it eventually wears out. Mine is monitored nightly.
I did read online:
Some pacemakers have an alarm system. The alarm means that your doctor needs to check something on your pacemaker. Your doctor can tell you what your alarm will sound like or feel like. You might hear beeping or feel a vibration. Call your doctor right away if you hear or feel an alarm.
