pacemaker check

Had my usual pacemaker check and again they checked by raising my pulse to 120, my heart tries to fight against this and they always have to take it a little higher.

Question is does anyone have a couple of days where they have more ectopic beats after a check ? Can it upset your rhythme for a day or two ?

I ask this because I was woken last night with a flutter, not lasting long, but not usual for me, in actual fact I have been really good lately.

Be interested to hear, especially from Electric Frank.

Thanks Jules

Had my check up last week and am still feeling a bit strange. Been checking my pulse during the night, something I've not done for about 3 years. Think I might go back next week if things dont settle down. My pulse is a steady 70bpm, but it feels like my heart is racing.

Hi Jules
I thought it was just me . I had my pm check four week ago, i have had it three years since full heart block , at 48 .Every time i have had a check up within days i get flutters, bangs, ectopics.and a sudden very fast rate like what they do when they are testing. I donot suffer from a fast rate eccept when i have had my tests. Things are carming down now. but next time i will be ready for it. I think it irritates the heart musle when they pace us.
