Will do!

I would ask your doc

I think it's worth asking your doctor about. I have a pacemaker, but going by what you've written the pain you're feeling seems musculatory. Also I speak from experience with lung problems, the stabbing pain might be caused by pleurisy. Pleurisy is when the lining of your lungs becomes inflamed and it causes "stabbing" like pain usually in your back, but the pain can be anywhere where the pleural lining becomes inflamed. I would have to ask you if the stabbing pain correlates with taking a breath in?
Either way, you should mention this to your doctor and let him check you out.

...could be pericarditis if it hurts when you breathe.

Either way, it's worth checking out.
