a little laughter

in one of the support groups i belong to a member had quite an extraordinary story of macabre humor. as his story goes, he was preparing some string beans for cooking, which he was holding in his hand when his ICD went off shocking him senseless. when he regained his senses, he noticed that the beans he was holding in his hand were letting off steam, as though they had been cooked.
i kid ye not. sounds like something out of ripley's believe it or not. the whole group had a good laugh at his expense.

That's right, all day I have been waiting for someone to make me laugh. It has been a terrible day. Just not feeling quite in sync with the world around me.

So after work I finally arrive home to turn on my trusty laptop.... and what do I read, a very funny story that has made me smile... and the responses equally as funny.... ha ha... thank you for the smiles and the laughter, everyone.
Thank you,

Sounds like the ICD detected a dangerous arrhythmia in the beans an saved their lives.

I always insisted I wanted beans that were properly fried the first time.
