Just wondered if anyone could advise my hubby: has had a PM along with a mechanical mitral valve replacement for 2 nearly 3 yrs now, and the last couple of days he has mentioned he has had this strange feeling that comes and goes, he describes it as lightheadedness and hot; he said it reminds him of the same feeling he has when he goes for his PM check and they switch it off or down. It happened 2x over the last couple of days, does anyone else have this feeling or is it worth getting checked. thanx

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.

Whenever one feels lightheaded or just doesn't feel quite right, of course he should call whoever checks his pacemaker and see if he can get an appointment - sooner, rather than later.
Wishing him the best,
