Hi there just read your profile, wow, you are an action man!!! Its only been 5 weeks, still early days, just think how long it takes for something like a bruise to stop being sore, they do a bit of bashing us about inside to get the pm nicely sited and it takes a while to settle down.
My pm is sited just under my collar bone and often still gets sore, nothing major, I think a bit of soreness is something that we have to get used to. I think i lost most of the initial soreness at about 8 weeks.

Hi, I had my pacemaker implanted at the end of February and unfortunately the soreness is still there for me too. Sometimes it's an itching, but sometimes it's a shooting sensation which I've been told may never fully disappear. Loopy Lou recommended I use vitamin E cream which most definitely soothes it, maybe this would work for you?
Hope that helped,

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.
More time...

Youre just a little more then a month post implant. Depending how deeply your device was implanted it wouldnt be unusual to still be sore. I believe I was sore for 8 or 10 weeks. I'd give it a little more time. If you continue to experience the soreness or are concerned give your doctor a call you wont be the first to ask about it.
