Hi everyone, had my DDD PM fitted on 16th july after being called into hospital after my Holter monitor detected a 28 second heartbeat pause during the night!! Isn't technology wonderful! Anyway, I am recovering well, I think, although finding some itching as the scar heals and struggling with clothes (remember to put poorly arm in sleeve first!) Doctor suggests paracetamol - OK. I enjoy getting outside in fresh air, even if just 30 mins walk; I did a 4 mile walk 2 days ago. Some little twinges in PM area but no worries because I feel very "peaceful" as my heart now has a lovely smooth steady rhythm and no further dizzy spells. Lots of time to catch up on reading, although this makes me tired and I have a sleep.

You know you're wired when...
You have rhythm.

To tell you the truth I never even give it a second thought. While growing up it never stopped me from doing anything and to this day my girlfriend or my kids need to remind me that I have one!
doing well!!
