My ablation was a success

It's been over a month since my ablation. I have been feeling great. My breathing and energy level has returned to normal, well at least normal for me.
I have yet to have my follow-up check-up, but I'm almost 100% sure I'm back in sinus rhythm.
You may recall that I told my doctors (and wife) that I was going to buy a new mountain bike if the ablation was a success. Well, guess what? I'm the proud owner of a new Trek bike. I've been biking everyday for nearly a week now and love it. Ive even found a few muddy trails.

Hi Blake.
I am so happy for you. I hope you continue to improve.
That new bike seems like a sound investment. Enjoy it.
Have you been taken off the coumadin yet?
I tried to get back on my bike the other day, but it had been so long, that when I came back, my legs felt like rubber. Lol.
It looks like I need to use it more often. Practice makes perfect.
Take care, and keep us posted .

Thanks

That's great news, Blake.
Thanks for taking time from your new mountain bike to give us an update. As others said, many of us were wondering how you were doing.
Take care,
Suze

I am just now 40 but have had these blackouts all my life. I am thrilled with the pacer and would do it all over again.
Get ready for a race!!

Hi Blake
So happy to hear you are feeling great now.We were getting worried as we hadnt heard from you for a while.
Wow your new bike sounds great. My hubby bought me a good mountain bike after I got my pacemaker .Walking and bike riding are the best way of keeping ourselves fit!
If ever you come downunder we must have a race.(Give me a few kilometres start though!!)
Good luck with your follow-up check !!
