Hi Everyone! I finally got a copy of the CT report and I thought I'd share the SVC finding...
BTW you might want to grab a chair and sit down.....
"There is a chronic near total occlusion of the Superior Vena Cava just proximal to the insertion of the azygos arch with marked enlargement of the superior intercostal veins, the accessory hemiazygos vein and the distal azygos vein and arch. Prominent subcutaneous collateral veins are also noted."
OK, you can breathe now.
Been busy, been very busy apparently making new veins while the others continue to balloon. With the more recent swelling I've had in my arm, I cannot help but wonder if those veins are getting a little too stressed now.
I am going to the pacer doc today.

Dodi,
I don't have a clue what any of that meant, but at least they are taking this seriously now! Keep after those doctors until they get all of this resolved.

I am SO glad you have finally gotten somewhere with your problem. Those collateral veins may help alot. My SVC resolved itself because I developed enough of them. I don't think mine was a bad as yours, though. I only had a full feeling in my face and neck.
Please keep us up to date on how things progress for you.
You have all the good vibes in the world on getting this solved. We are glad if we helped!
Best to you always,
Gellia
