Hi

I am looking at the possibility to take a job in the US. I am a Canadian & US citizen. Is there any insurance companies I can get US coverage from? I want to retain my Canadian coverage but want to also explore what options are available to me in the US. Now that there is medical coverage for those with a pre existing condition has that helped people with ICD's get coverage?

Thanks

Hard to do

U.S. coverage will be high-priced. If you have a pre-existing condition, coverage will be almost impossible to get. If you are lucky, you may get a job where the company has group insurance. It is your best hope. My state has a program where it insures pre-existers, but it is expensive, too.

Your ICD has a better memory than you.

I am just now 40 but have had these blackouts all my life. I am thrilled with the pacer and would do it all over again.
