Im new here
Hi there, I an looking for people who have a AICD, I have had one for 7 yrs, I had a pacemaker since 97. I have a congenital heart disease and I feel that I am in a world of my own. I dont know of anyone else who has a defib. Would love to talk to people who do. Thanks

I have a pm/defib installed after my emergency bypass in Aug of 08. Doing fine pm me if you want to talk or ask any questions or ask away on here im not the only one that has one on here but can answer a question not the smartest tack in the box but I can tell you what Ive been thru.

Just about everyone on this site has a PM and a lot of us have ICDs so you have about 10,000 to talk to. You are not alone.
Working around the site:
Under clubhouse, upper left see Member List, Private Messages
Under Forums, lower left check out the ICDs section for previous posts
Upper right you can "search" and may find someone in your area. I see that you are from Louisiana, search the state first and nearby cities.
And there is always the Chat room.
This is a pretty well organized site and there is a lot of experience here.
Keep those posts coming and ask questions.
