I've never had a problem with mine.

Me too

I started mowing with my gas mower 2 weeks after implant, which may have been a little soon, but had no problems. That was this past March and have been mowing twice a week ever since.

My Pacemaker Book

Thank you for your replies. What type of pacemaker do all of you have. And does one make a difference for another. My pacemake is a duel biotronic pacemaker. My husband doesnt want me to mow because he says my book specifies that I am not supposed to be around any kind of vibration, that it will mess up my pacemaker. He keeps me scared that I will have to have batteries before my due time I love working in my yard, however I did become disabled after receiving mine. The pacemaker contributing a great deal to the cause.

My book from the manufacturer states I am not to use gas powered tools or power tools. I am not to even be in the garage when my husband is using them. Every manufacturer has different guidelines and I suggest you follow yours. Adjusting to the new "normal" with these restrictions is not easy. I am starting week 5 and accepting the restrictions is difficult, but it is better to be safe.

Yesterday was my first day mountain biking after my implant. I wiped out several times and everything is fine. There are sports after pacemakers!
