Had appointments at the Mayo Clinic about a month ago. First saw the device team, who took one look at my protruding wires and said they thought they could help me if I stayed an extra day. Well, of course. They revised the pocket, flipped the pacer, and tucked the leads under it. Problem solved! And life is much better!
Also saw the heart failure clinic where they tweaked my meds. Dropped digoxin completely and within a few days the 24/7 visual aura was completely gone. Will miracles ever cease?

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.
Things that make you go, Mmmmm!

Isn't life just wonderful once you find good medical care and they are able to resolve your problems? 'Really makes life better doesn't it?
