2nd CRT-D has moved...

Hi,

Anyone have experience with a device that has moved 4 months after implantation?

This is my second CRT-D and it has now rotated more than 45 degrees from an upwards position on my left chest to a armpit facing position. The leads connecters that were on the top are now on my left and pointing slightly down.

EP does not seem particularly concerned; but, new placement is causing soreness.

thanks,

Dianne

EP did not stitch the CRT-D

Yes, I already asked him if he stitched the device inside the pocket using the holes the manufacturer designed. His answer was "No"..."they don't use them..." I assume the "they" are the other EP in this very large hospital owned practice...
