Interesting - when I went to th e hospital for all my workups, it was St Joseph's in Atlanta. Wasn't 18 laps for a mile, it was 15. I likewise got out & walked laps around the nurses' stations. I discovered early on that I'd better alternate directions everytime I went walking - my hip on the inside of the circle was getting sore.
First time I went out, I took my IV stand w/me & made a few laps beforfe the nurse caughtme & suggestedthat I needed another robe on - I was mooning the entire ward w/ my only gown flapping in the breeze as I walked.
Sounds like you are in Good Hands.
