Anyone heard from CFozzy in here lately ? She had a PM implanted a couple weeks ago and I was checking to see how it went and if she is doing good. She was really worried.
Thanks

Your anxiety is normal. It takes some of us a little time to adjust to the new friend. As much as they love you, family and friends without a device just cannot understand the adjustment we go through. That is why this site is so valuable.
CFozzy Update
by Marie12 - 2013-11-06 10:11:32
C Fozzy posted the following on Sept. 23.
posted a little while ago about getting an ICD. My surgery was on Friday and it went fabulously. It hasn't been too painful, just a little sore at times. Sleeping is the only complaint I have. It's only comfortable to sleep on my back. Wearing a bra is no problem. My hospital stay was amazing. It was like staying at a hotel, even the food was good. I appreciate all the thought and prayers! Just wanted to let y'all know that I was doing okay And I can testify that the surgery isn't bad at all! Don't be scared!
My Incision

I forgot to mention about my incision. From what I had researched about, a lot of ICD scars are horizontal and just below the collar bone. My surgeon actually made mine vertical close to my armpit. I still have a bandage over it but I'm assuming that any tank top will cover the scar completely. He said that the vertical scar will help because in his terms, as I get older, "gravity" will catch up with me and pull downwards on the scar, tending to make it wider.
