Any advice?

I just found this website, and am very excited to read other people's experiences with icd. I had my first one put in 8/05 and had it replaced in 6/08 because of recall. I never knew that I was sick, just thought I was getting old and that would be the reason why I couldn't walk more than 3 house without stopping. I was 60 at the time. I was wondering if anyone else ever gets any tingling through out their body. My tingling started about 4 months after having the icd, and it can happen anywhere....legs, arm, nose, face & etc. I have been through all kinds of tests, and everything is alright. I find that having something to salty, or stress brings it on more, but sometimes out of no where it happens. Any advice?

I'm glad you found this site. It is a wealth of information with a lot of compassionate and supportive members.

As far as your tingling goes, (and I'm grasping at straws) - could it be that your new ICD is perhaps sitting on a nerve?

Actually when I get stressed or anxious, my legs and hands tingle.

Just curious, but have you been to see a Neurologist about this?

Good luck and keep us posted.

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
