Failed ICD

Could I ask who the manufacturer is? I have recently had a cameron health S-ICD implanted and it failed within four weeks. I have in the last few day had new second device fitted? And is failure a common occurrence?

Failed PM

I don't know where you are located or what insurance you have, but if in US, you have a right to receive copies of all medical reports and you should make sure to get them. If anybody stalls, quote HIPAA to them, that's the law that guarantees your right to your records. Then, if they're too jargonized get someone who understands that stuff to explain it to you. After that you will know more about your options, but it sounds screwy to me to have 2 PMs fail when they seldom fail at all.
Best of luck
