Petrol Powered Garden Tools

I have petrol powered garden tools made Stihl, they German company, which I have not used since having a pacemaker implanted in February this year. I have read the Pacemaker Club FAQs on interferences and note that electric shearers will not interfere with the pacemaker. The equipment I have is: a chainsaw, a strimmer, a leaf blower, all of which are used on the right-hand side of my body with my pacemaker having been inserted on the left side.

Am I correct in assuming that the E M F of the sparkplugs of these tools will not interfere; on average they will be some 18 inches away from the pacemaker.

If the forum cannot reassure me on this particular question, I would appreciate any websites which may help me. I have been unable to get the Stihl website.

I use all of the above tools and then some. Can't use Cabg Patch theory as wife is a Cardiac nurse. And, Stihl is good. See, my private message. donb

Thanks very much for your comments. It's always more reassuring to receive comments from 'pacemaker hardened' troops than from theorists however specialised they are.

Looks like it's back to the garden grind again to keep it tidy. Hoping to sell the house and buy one with a concrete garden.
