Pacer self check

I was going to reply to the question of the self check below but it has already gone way down the page, so I thought I would post a new message. I have my self check set at 09:45 on a Tuesday. I like it then as I am aware when it happens and I know that my PM is still working. Every now and then I may be doing something active at this time such as a bodypump class. I still feel it kick in at the same time, but something tells the pacemaker check that this is not a good time. The check stopss and I feel it exactly 1 hour later, and if this is now a good time it will do it's check. Occasionally it may still need another hour. What I am trying to say is I think that if the PM check finds a fault it will keep rechecking until it is okay. This has never been recorded at my pacemaker clinic check.
I also wanted to add that I can't understand why any of you pacerchicks have never talked of Hugh Jackman- only George Clooney and Keith Urban.

Did you ask the doctor to set your self check at that time? I do not know when mine is going to happen but I feel it when it does. I think I would prefer having it set for a specific time. And Hugh Jackman is awesome!!!!

Self Check Time

I had my PM implanted in 2007. It started out checking itself at 7:30 am, then it changed to 8:30 am. It is now checking itself at 11am. What's up with that?

You know you're wired when...

You play MP3 files on your pacer.

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.
