It shouldn't...

I had a CT scan on my head due to a fall and it wasn't a problem. MRI's can often cause issues, but to the best of my knowledge, standard CT scans are fine. Mainly, you want to avoid strong magnetic fields, as generated by an MRI.

Many PM websites have information on what is and is not acceptable with their devices. You might want to see what your manufacturer has to say online.

No. I have had 3 since pm, I was told no worries, only an MRI will affect it.

CT is an xray, it's fine.

I've had several CT scans after having my PM put in, and I've never had any problems at all.

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.
