recovery after getting a pacemaker

I will be getting a pacemaker soon. We have 3 days tickets for the US Open Tennis tournament, where it gets hot at times.. I am trying to figure if I should get the pacemaker a week before we go, or wait till after.

How long will I feel weak after I have the surgery and the pacemaker?

How long is normal recovery, when I can be active again?

you will be fine assuming you have no other health issues. You might be a bit tired but no reason why you can't watch tennis-- just don't play a few sets :). BTW, heat won't bother the PM but drink a lot of fluids.

Wait if you can

If you can put it off a week, you will be able to enjoy the tournament more. You will be very uncomfortable for several weeks after the surgery. The first week is the most pain, with it subsiding a little more each week. But why should you feel bad when you are trying to enjoy the tennis?

I would have to say

that all depends on your condition. I would talk to your doctor about it and see what they tell you. Sometimes you can wait sometimes you cant. And pain afterwards it depends on the person, I really didnt have a lot of pain after implantation, but like I said all people are different. Where is the US Open this year? Heat and cold are different on people to it really depends on your condition. Frank lives in the desert and loves it, Pookie lives in Canada and loves it especially the snow lol right Pookie lol.
Talk with your doctor ww4321.
