Used to it

I get dull pains in my left arm sometimes in the armpit area and a little bit down the arm it is just a dull sore ache more or less and if I move just right at the top part of the device. How long does it take for the nerves and muscles to repair?

Finally used to it

Since I have my PM inserted during a time when I was recovering from a car accident, I assumed that I was achy and in pain from the accident. I however, experienced pain in my armpit area and sometimes still do, pain down my arm. I had my implant done Feb. 19, 2011, so 11 months ago, and it is just starting to feel better now. Everyone is different, and I assume mine would have started to feel better if I had not been bedridden from the accident for 5 months, and had very little movement during that time. I was unable to exercise and try to strengthen the muscle in that area until recently, and find that exercise does in fact help me. Good luck with yours and hope you feel better soon.

I had my PM put in almost 2 years ago and still have pain. Everyone is different, some have the pain go away, some have it for life.
