Hi!
I am about to purchase my first set of hearing aids and I would like them to have the Blue Tooth streamer accessory because cell phone usage when driving is forbidden where I live and I find it is a darn nuisance, not say dangerous, when in heavy traffic. However, the microphone streamer device I would like to purchase to go with my aids to make them active with my cell phone, is made to hang from the neck and obviously very close to my pacemaker. Does anyone have any experience or advice in that regard? The hearing aid suppliers never even asked me if I had a pacemaker.

A properly implanted and adjusted pacemaker will not even be noticeable after you get over the surgery.

Hi Pierrot,
My advice would be to contact the pacemaker manufacturer. I did this for my kitchen induction hob and they were really useful ( Bless you St Jude!)
It would be useful to post the reply as others would like the benefit of their wisdom. I cook at arms length!
