Just been for a jab, waiting for it to kick in so I can get some sleep. For a person who avoids meds I'm sure I'd rattle if you shook me at the mo. Constant pain around the PM site. Can't lift my arm above waist height or cross the mid-line without pain. ( I talk with my hands and this is most annoying!)
Even washing my face at the baisin, driving and drying my hair are becoming impossible tasks.
Mostly the pain is around the leads and refers up the neck across the chest to where I imagine the leads enter the vein, down below the PM and into the arm. It varies from pain to an intense burning sensation.
I am very bony and the doc who gave me the jab tonight said he had never seen a PM stick out so far. Nothing I can do about that!
Unfortunately even mild pain meds make me sleepy and wonky so I keep goning as long as I can and take them once I get home. The MD has now put me on Lyrica.
Any other suggestions?

I wouldn't be here if it were not for this amazing technology inside of me.
