Sleep

by howdoyoumendabrokenheart - 2012-03-23 02:03:41

When I had this done (1/23/12), they did put those "big cold patches" on me, restrained me, covered me, introduced the anesthetist to me, and within minutes I was out, within what seemed like seconds, it was over and they were waking me up and taking everything off and telling me to remain still. Because of my heart's condition I could not have pain killers so after everything wore off, I was in considerable pain. After then sent me home I was in so much pain when I slept it was incredible. But after a week or so everything start to subside, now it has been about 8 weeks or so and everything seems ok. I still have healing to do but I can see that in few months I probably won't even notice the device. The major issues I had were the showering and the not lifting the arm over the head. But time passes quickly in hindsight. You should be fine in the long run. Good luck and I wish you the best.
