Antibiotic side effects
by MSPACER - 2012-04-11 09:04:53
Most likely a side effect of the antibiotics. They kill off all of the good flora in your gut. Speak to your doctor-you may need a good probiotic to get your gut back in balance. Watch it carefully though-I had a problem with similar symptoms about a month after my first implant. I caught a nasty c. difficile bacterial infection. If it does not subside, go to the doctor.
Thank you

MSPACER hit the nail on the head!!! as it is not uncommon for a person to catch MRSA or C-Diff while in hospital....good question to ask your doctor!!! You can ask to be tested....I would:)
Let us know how you make out on Tuesday.

Hi Ralph,
My guess is that you have caught a stomach virus, perhaps you should go check in with your family doctor and stay away from dairy as that will only make it worse.
Another thought: are you on any new medications???? because sometimes what you are experiencing can be a side effect.
Another tip so as not to get dehydrated: sip on watered down Gatoraide or some type of electrolyte drink.
Remember the BRATT diet: bananas, rice, applesauce, toast, and tea:)
Let us know how you make out.
