using hedge trimmers.

Hi I have a question I have had an Boston Scientific ICD for 9 months...I am doing well but was wanting to work in the yard and trim bushes with a electric bush trimmer...It vibrates quite a bit as it is running and just wondered if I could use this to trim my bushes I know there are so many things I cant use So, does anyone know about this.. thanks

I have had my boston scientific for about 8 months now and use the weedeater and edger about once a week when doing yard work.

Just keep your fingers out of the blade

It's electric! You would be fine. We all use other things daily that plug in.....enjoy the yardwork!

Ok Thank you all for the comments...I just was alittle afraid of the vibration with the hedge trimmer...that it might upset the ICD...I have used an electric weed eater
and didnt have a problem...But, now I have had some dizziness but not from using the weedeater..I think its from the sinus problems i have been having...Pacemaker seemes to be fine...I just know every time a person has something you begin to wonder if it is your heart or if you feel something funny in your chest you automaticlly think your pacemaker has gone bad or something terrible is wrong..Its sure different living with a ICD...but I know it has helped me...thank again to you all for the comments...

You know you're wired when...

You have a maintenance schedule just like your car.

I'm 43 and have had my pacemaker four weeks today. I'm looking forward to living another 50 years and this marvelous device inside me will help me do that.
