Got my pm feb 10/2012 my GP has been sick and I have never until the other day met my cardiologist . So left hospital being told I would feel better then new and of course felt far from it. You folks have been my only support and source of knowledge and I greatly thank you for that. Friday April 13 was my first interrogation and they were prepared to tell me everything was. Working well with my pm. Thanks to my readings on here I was brave enough to tell them it wasn't right and they really needed to adjust something to help me. I suggested that they should turn up my lower rate from 60 to 70 as before my av block I always had a high pulse rate..the pm tech listened to me and agreed that might work for me..the cardiologist was reluctant to agree and stared me in the eye and said no one gets dizzy at 60,but agreed we could try it...still not feeling great but am much better. Before coming on this site I would have said nothing and gone along with feeling tired and drunk (without the happy) for ever...thanks so much

The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.
