Limitations

I really enjoy working in my lawn and garage on various projects. I was wondering if anyone has experienced any problems working with power equipment? Lawn equipment, backpac blowers, weedeaters and auto shop equipment including welders. Hoping to be able to do this type of work in retirement.

I have an ICD/PPM and I work with lawn mower, weed trimmer, leaf blower and hedge trimmers. I have not had an issue, but I limit myself when I a, winded and take my time. My yard used to take me about 30 minutes and not hour 15 to 30 minutes/

you should have gotten a pacer id card when you got your pacer . it should have a help line number on it. call and ask for tech support and they can tell you everything you need to know based on the type of pacer you have as they are not all the same.

go for it

As long as you feel ok, it's fine. If something makes you feel dizzy, step away from it,but it should be fine. A magnet has to be closer than 6" from the device to cause problems. Pm's are well shielded so other than arc welding, you won't run into problems.

No problems here

Yesterday was the first time in 20 months I did my lawn. Tired of paying someone $25.00 per week. I used my riding mower, push mower, backpac blower, weedeater and edger. Also I jumped back into work with power tools, drills, sawzall, band saw, power pony(pipe threader), and working around live ppower. SO GO FOR IT..

Thanks

they probably told you, but don't make the mistake (as i did) and put your cellphone in your shirt pocket near your device site. you will begin to feel weak and should realize something is wrong. it only took me once. also be careful working around auto engines that are running, or large electrical motors or transformers. most other equipment that you use if fine when you hold it away from you site. i.e. if your implanted on the left side, use equipment in your right hand, etc.

You know you're wired when...

You play MP3 files on your pacer.
