It has been 6 months since PM surgery. I still find myself tired, beyond what I would call normal after workout. Pacemaker due to bradycardia. Will discuss with my cardiologist at my Jan. appointment. Anyone else have these same issues?

Hi Soodoo,
Why can't you get in before January, maybe there can be some minor adjustments that can really improve your current situation.
Please try to give them a call before January, it might really help.
Best wishes,
Moner

tired after singing rehearsal

I'm six months with PM, 77 years old, and find that over-doing, including singing, makes me dizzy. As long as I'm in my recliner, my PM is okay. Have Sick Sinus Syndrome, loads of pvc's, much irregularity and some afib (better since PM). Does anyone else get an overnight dizzy attack from over-exertion?

I am just grateful to God that I lived long enough to have my ICD put in. So many people are not as lucky as us; even though we sometimes don't feel lucky.

Are you overdoing it? If it's been a while since you exercised regularly, it can take some time to get back to where you were before. If you feel ok otherwise (no dizziness, etc) you might just need to slow down a bit and ease into it. Also be super careful about nutrition and hydration. If you are not hydrated you'll be extra tired and never ever work out on an empty stomach, make sure you've had some protein and carbs for fuel. I agree with Moner, call before Jan just to make sure nothing is going on.
