Hi - just found this group. I hope I can contribute and as well hope you can relieve my anxiety
8 days post op - I took my pulse and it is skipping really bad. 3 beats skip 3 beats skip 2 beats skip.... The pacer is set for a low of 70. It wasn't this bad when I was in a-fib... don't know if this normal or not... all new to me and I don't want to be a pain in the ### with the doctor - already took them to task for failing to update my cadiologist and general practioner.
Anyone else go through something like this?

Besser1961,
Don't worry about being a "pain in the ###." Call your doctor(s) and let them know that your concerned! Wait until you see how much this cost you, then you won't feel bad about calling them. LOL!
It may just be the way they have your settings set at. If you're uncomfortable, they can adjust it for you. Do you have an appointment with your PM tech yet? They most likely are the ones that will adjust your settings.
I wasn't comfortable with my settings at first (I'm on week 3). They did make some changes that improved things. Some changes made things worse and they were able to change those back right then and there.
Speak up and let them know your concerns and if you're uncomfortable. This is no time to be shy. Explain exactly how you are feeling and why you don't like it. They will most likely know what is causing it and how to adjust it.
Others here will help you out so much! They know all of the technical terms to use when you ask your doctor or PM tech. I'm still new at this, but others out there will be God-sends to you!
Also, don't be surprised if all of the sudden you get hit with a lot of anxiety, sadness, or PM regret (why did I do this). It's all perfectly normal. Most of us are either going through it now or have gone through it in the past.
Post and ask anything you are concerned about (weird feelings, scary thoughts, icky sensations, etc.) Everyone will put your mind at ease and offer tons of suggestions.
Best of luck!
